Optic Echo Records
Optic Echo Records
Optic Echo sprang from the ashes of Dick and Jane Records, which was formed in Iowa City by Geoff Richards in 2002. Mike Jedlicka and Nik Francis joined to release a number of CDs and a 12”. The vinyl became the first release by Optic Echo after D&J was drowned by a certain lawyer’s cease and desist.
Our radio show “Optic Echo Presents” started in 2007 and can be heard Tuesday nights 8-10pm PST live on FM radio in Porland, OR (107.1 / 91.1) and streaming from XRAY Studios. See our site’s podcasts, mixcloud, or our archive for past shows.
We strive to put out vinyl collaborations of our favorite artists, and throw small shows in art galleries and churches outside of the club scene with our Meyer sound system around Portland, OR.
